The Valdichiana

From our farmhouse, a short drive across the tuscan border will take you to some of the loveliest medieval towns and hamlets in the Valdichiana including Lucignano, Monte San Savino and Castiglion Fiorentino. Marked by rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, the Valdichiana is well-known for its excellent cuisine, its superb DOC wines and the local Chianina beef.

…and the Val d’Orcia

During your stay in our farmhouse with swimming pool in Umbria, a short drive across the Valdichisna will take you to the province of Siena and world famous Val d’Orcia, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the beauty of its scenery and the unique charm of medieval villages such as Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia and Montalcino. Other destinations not to be missed in the province of Siena include San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Montepulciano.
